Hello Again!

Crikey - where does the time go?

I can't believe it's been so long since my last post.

Autumn is nearly here and what have I been up to?

Well - I have been sewing, sewing, sewing and doing this and that.

Here are my latest projects.

Harris Tweed and Embroidered Birds.

My Liberty and Vintage Wool Bunnies. Each one is individually made so no two are the same.

There are more but I will save them for another day.

Both of these are available from my website.

I hope that if you have made a Bishops Hat Tea Cosy you will share the pictures with me - I would love to see them! This is the second one I have had - have a look here

Apart from that I went to see the Fun Lovin' Criminals on Friday at Shepherds Bush Empire - they were awesome.

On Saturday I went to Nunhead Cemetery to see an exhibition of art inspired by Victorian Funerary Tradition. It was interesting.

Only thing was, there was a poet there who started reading a poem about being a widow and I'm afraid I did have to leave and had a bit of a cry out the front - never mind - it just hits me with force every now and then.

I, of course made a spectacle of myself by dropping my sunglasses into one of the exhibits.....

We then went to Greenwich and had a wander about - a nice lunch in the Market (Caribbean Creole Beef, Rice and Peas and a stuffed dumpling - mmmmm)

green leather coat for £30 too. It's a bit tight but I never have coats done up anyway, and it was too nice to let it pass.

This weekend I am looking forward to a nice weekend at home, having the last 5 weekends booked up. I want to get on with some sewing.
