Sewing Room and Homely things.

The sewing room is finished.  Woohoo.  Here are some pics of before and after.....

In this picture you can see how dingy and dull the room is - the green just sucked all the light out of the room..........

But after a coat of white paint - look at the difference!!!  I have used a vintage toiletry holder for threads and bobbins - really handy.  The cupboard was an old cupboard that was destined for the bonfire and a friend rescued it and gave it to me.  I painted it pink and lined it with Orla Kiely wrapping paper!!

Have also been working on the kitchen today.

I've been busy but there is still a way to go!

Have a lovely weekend all.

A coat of paint can make all the difference and the white has brightened and lightened everything, well done.

Love the little cabinet too, it will certainly come in handy.

I'm sure many happy hours will be spent in your 'new' sewing room,

Wow - your sewing space looks fab! You must be so pleased with it. Currently trying to makeover my own. Need to find the motivation to do the paint job and stop getting carried away with the details!
