Updates and all that

Once again I am shockingly tardy at updating the blog for which I apologise.

Well - what have I been up to?

The ORIGINAL Vintage and Handmade Fair (beware of imitations), was brilliant as usual.  I have some pictures here.  I will be at the next one on 3rd December, so come and say hello!

Here are a few pictures of my stand.  My creatures did very well so I was pleased.  Am working on some other designs at the moment.

Apart from that I have been mooching around boot fairs and charity shops picking up bits and bobs.  Got a fabulous Le Creuset kettle for £3 with the lid knob missing.  I contacted them and they sent me a replacement for free so I am very happy!  Here they are - before and after.

Also got a nice 70's round coffee table for £2.  It was manky on the top but I rubbed and scrubbed and oiled et voila!

I got a few other bits and bobs but these were the 2 things I was most pleased with.

As well as that I am also in the new magazine Handmade Living.  You will find a pattern in there for a pear shaped pin cushion by yours truly.  I am also in issue 2 due out on 26th.  Fame at last eh?

Anyhoo - enjoy the sun everyone.

Until I remember to blog again - tatty bye.

That is a smashing picture of you...I wish we had more time to look at each others stands at the Fairs. I am always in such a tizz I never get to look properly.
Especially yours, seeing these pics.
As for a free knob...well you don't hear of that happening too often these days!
Love, love, love the table....good for you.
I will stop rambling now. x

Your stall looks gorgeous! Wish I lived nearer so I could visit the H&V events. On second thoughts that could be disastrous for the old bank balance. Love the beatniks!

Thank you for stopping-by my blog and for your supportive words. Looking forward to bumping into you at another fair sometime...or even at Shepton Mallet if you decide to move there! Exciting!

I loved doing the V&H fair and miss the camaraderie at these events. Glad you were successful with your fabulous little characters.
