Well Happy New Year!

Yes folks, you've guessed it - one of my New Years Resolutions is to update my blog regularly!!!

I have been so busy but I must confess I did not realise it had been quite so long since I updated it I must say....

Anyhoo - the Vintage and Handmade was a great success and it was a very enjoyable day and nice to see old friends and new friends. The atmosphere was lovely and it was very busy non-stop all day.

The little gray cashmere fellas went in the first 5 minutes! I should have made some more of those I think :-).

My stall was next to my lovely friend Donna so that was brilliant. Donna is a great friend and I don't get to see her as often as I would like so it was great to be next door all day - even though we were too busy to speak!

Another lovely friend is Clare from Daisy Darling who makes the most gorgeous hats. Sorry about my rubbish photography!. Poor Clare had a terrible sore throat but she was still making me laugh - she has such a great sense of humour.
There were of course lots of other lovely people there too.

Of course it goes without saying that a huge thank you is due to Michele and Jayne who organise the fair so brilliantly. Well done :-)

Then came the snow - luckily for us the week after the Fair and then suddenly it was Christmas and then suddenly it's 2011. Where does the time go?

Anyway, I have a few resolutions and here they are - nag me please!

1. Learn Swedish
2. Relocate to West Country
3. Read more books - well - some books at least!
4. Stop biting my nails - again
5. Write a Craft Book (Watch this space)

They all seem reasonable. The most difficult one will be No.4. I have stopped before for years and had lovely nails but bit them all off (not surprisingly) and still keep nibbling.

Anyway - I hope that you all had a great Christmas and I look forward to boring you - opps - I mean enthralling you with many more posts in 2011.

Woo.

Those little gray cashmere fellas look great ! Holt craft market sounds good. I definitely need to go one day. I'm quite with you on number 3- Read more books ! Personnally, I should spend less time with my second hubby (yes, you guess my computer). Interested though by your 5th resolution ... A craft book ! I am a self-taught photographer, french native, and it would be a dream come true to illustrate a craft book. I am living near ely, and is passionate about craftpeople. Really enjoyed reading your blog. I am just building mine. Nice to meet talented people.
