Dunkirk

Today is the 70th anniversary of the Dunkirk evacuations.

Earlier this week I went down to the harbour here in Ramsgate to watch as a flotilla of the original 'Little Ships' set sail to Dunkirk again to commemorate the day. These tiny boats rescued over 300,000 troops. It was a moving sight.

Long Time No Post (Again)

I have been neglecting my blog lately. Nothing much to write for a while but there are a few things going on now.

Next week is Dons annual Spring Open House. I would urge anyone that can make it to please come - it is a treasure trove of all things vintage, plus delicious cakes and lovely company. Come down and make a weekend of it , it's a lovely part of the world to visit!

I will be there assisting and rummaging, so come down and say hello to us!

What else has been happening? Well - I am designing a Tea Cosy pattern for Sew-Hip magazine which is exciting.

I am also concentrating on a large Bunny order and still working on the launch of my new venture Happy Little Owl. Please check out the blog and join the FaceBook Group as well.

It's all busy busy busy here, which is probably just as well!

Will post some crafty updates as soon as I can!
