Woman of Kent

Just a couple of pics. Will be posting some more soon. The first one is a nice row of houses nearby and the second one I took in Margate. Margate is of course getting a Tate Gallery and I had heard it was a mecca for artists, so I paid a visit.

Unfortunately all I could see was Mecca bingo, not much sign of artists. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place? I went the the Old Town and to be honest, my personal view is that it has been over restored, it looks like a film set. If you look at the photo, you can see what I mean - it's too clean! But I will be glad to see Margate improved, it really is very run down.


Also, have done my hair and it's a bit bright so I must tone it down today.

Granny Squares

I have been crocheting like mad since the nights have drawn in. I am very proud of what I have done so far.

This is the only pattern I can do, but I really want to try a ripple one like Dons. This Attic24 blog is fantastic as well - found this via Dons too.

Have been trying to sort out my sewing room but I have sooooo much stuff. I am sitting here doing this and watching Carry on Screaming instead. Bad Girl.
